Brennan Brinkley
3D Generalist
Hey, thanks for visiting my site!
My name is Brennan and I'm just a guy trying to make a living out of his passion for animation. I'm based out of Manhattan and work on music videos and ads for artists and companies both big and small. My skills lie in high poly and low poly modeling both organic and hard surface, procedural and hand-painted texturing and animation and I'm also well versed in 2D motion design. I'm fluent in After Effects, Illustrator, Maya, C4D, Blender, Z Brush, Substance Painter/Designer, and Marvelous designer. Feel free to reach out for any projects you might need a 3D generalist or a 2D motion designer for.
Breakdowns
This Anheuser-Busch Holiday creative was a solo project I created all aspects of aside from the background plate used in the last shot. The concept was inspired by ‘60s and ‘70s stop motion holiday specials and since then I’ve managed to get good use out of these bottles in other ABI ads.

All aspects of this Trade creative were made from scratch by myself. We created the mascot Jenny Java to fulfill Trade’s goal to showcase the process of how coffee travels from roaster to doorstep in a fun and whimsical way through a Willy Wonka-esque coffee factory. The aesthetic is again 3D stop motion, only this time I took inspiration from Disney’s James and the Giant Peach adaptation, another work of Roald Dahl’s.

All aspects of this project were done by myself. This creative was made as a part of Agency Within’s rebrand campaign. I wanted to give the robot a cute, yet somewhat obsolete design to show he was in need of an upgrade. Using inspiration from ‘90s toys such as the Tamagotchi and Gameboy I gave him a colorful, hard-shell plastic exterior and a dot-matrix screen to really hit home that 90s tech feeling.

I did all aspects of this shot for the 6ix9ine music video GOOBA. This was my first attempt at motion capturing a performance and applying it to a rig. If I could go back and do it again, I would hand animate this shot cause it could’ve really used a lot more exaggeration and expression.
